The smell went as fast as it came. The picture is truly deceiving. Mochi lack the powder on the outside on some. Probably due to rubbing off against the plastic wrap. Which is understandable. Still, the mochi color isn't white. Give it a bite. A clean cut bite. Fun to chew. The mochi has a mild sweetness, which gets overshadowed by the filling. As one keep chewing, the durian paste filling spread. As for the texture, it is a cross of dessert jelly and the sweet jelly babies. The durian flavor is strong and accurate.
